HOEDOWN AT THE HOOF, TORONTO, ON, PARK
Location –VANDERHOOF SKATEPARK – VANDERHOOF – ON
Date – July 6th
The hoedown at the hoof will be celebrating it’s 10th anniversary this year This “non-test” is a jam format where 4 or 5 riders have 15 minutes to shralp it out against each other and impress the crusty judges in order to take home a piece of the $10,000 cash and prizes up for grabs. Only $5 to enter and it’s open to all skateboarders of any age and gender.
The “Hoof” is located in the Leonard Linton Park in Toronto and features a large U-shaped bowl, with a long 5′ shallow-end mini-ramp curving into a 9′ deep-end bowl, with several extensions, pool coping in the deep-end and a challenging over-vert cradle. This event attracts local and international talent from around the globe and you never know who will be there or what you will witness but you’re guaranteed to have the best day of the Summer
Schedule for the day:
11 am Registration Opens
Contest starts around noonish
Groms (under 16ish)
Veterans (Older dudes who still got it but are scared to ride in the Open)
Open Qualifiers (Anyone who wants to get that money and prizes!!)
Finals (Top 10, 2 heats of 5 riders for 20 min)
Best Tricks (cowbell height-o-meter and other oddities with live music)
Sanctioned by Canada Skateboard as a National Points earning event.
Hoedown At The Hoof competitors results will be included in the National Skateboard Ranking List.
