Canada Skateboard's SheCANSk8 to host Safespace online panel discussion presented by Bell on Thursday, March 23rd 2023 at 4PM PST / 7PM EST.
Canada Skateboard has announced SheCANSk8 'Safespace', an online panel discussion presented by Bell.
The SheCANSk8 panel discussion will be moderated by Annie Guglia, the first ever female Canadian Olympic skateboarder and president of Canada Skateboard. Panelists will include Vanessa Bowles, founder of Female Boarder Collective in Thunder Bay, Chantel Garcia, founder of Queer Skate Toronto, and Sophie Grant, accomplished Canadian skateboarder.
Panel discussion topic: Creating Safer Spaces Through Gender Equity in Skateboarding.
The online event will include 60 minutes of discussion, and a 30 minute audience Q&A where audience members can ask questions and get involved in the conversation.
